Very interesting piece from the man who left the ad game at his peak. He’s basically saying that redesigning capitalism won’t come from ad shops, it will come from foward thinking people working for the company itself, creating more transparent and sustainable brands, rather than campaigns saying these things. I think IBM does a good job with this-focusing on improving their brand and what their role in society really is, and their relationship to their customers, rather than flashy ads that bang on about it.
