Still trying to work out the perfect formula for auto-bio webpages (that’s what i’m calling them now). I’ll talk about the actual appearance of them later, but just by pasting some examples into google docs, it’s easy to spot what’s essential, and what’s not. I think it’s fine to pad out the bio with some personality, but it’s important to always keep in mind read time. When someone starts skimming, it’s all over. In that case, make sure you’ve got a small handful of major links: resume, twitter or email, so that whoever is reading can leapfrog to your next stuff.
