Was watching Vh1 while in line for ________ and have noticed that not only do they use ribbons to introduce songs, but they’re animated! And channel 10 have started using them for neighbours promos, but less effectively (i imagine channel 10 graphics department < VH1 graphics department). When I saw that ribbon unfold, it was like…
Anyway, scrolls, banners, folds, are now called ribbons on account of this new tumblr theme. All tags supporting this trend watch will be named ‘ribbons’. You wait for Creative Review to do their best of 2010 and ribbons will be in there.
Can’t find any vh1 clips on youtube because all the top 20 artists all have their own VEVO channels..
