Live-action vs Gameplay

I like seeing a mix of live-action and a little gameplay in video game advertising. For me, all gameplay is boring, and often looks less exciting than when it’s on your tv, and all live-action is sometimes tricky to link to the game, if you remove the last shot of the new Assassin’s Creed trailer, it could easily be a Mel Gibson film. The documentary perspective was kind of interesting, and definitely effective way of expressing the games future-warfare themes and storyline.
