Links You Can’t Click
Aside from paywalls, it’s unusual to find content you can’t click.
I wonder how this impacts habit building. If users know something they like isn’t accessible yet, but will be in a few days, will they remember to return?
Here’s a two examples.
Fantastic Man gives up over four years of archived ‘daily recommendations’ but still makes you wait each day. This is nothing new, most blogs operate like this with themed posts, but I liked the layout, it reminded me of an advent calendar.
Jerry Seinfeld’s personal archives features three new short clips a day, and teases the next three like this.
