Quite a nice print campaign for data backup, with faux warnings’ that you never see. The thing is, if you’re laptop is backed up and insured, it’s just a brick isn’t it? It already feels like an antiquated idea that your laptop is yours’. I imagine in the near future you’ll be able to rent tablets and chromebook like laptops that you enter your username and are ready to go. The more stuff on the cloud (for me anyway) the less value I place in the hardware that I own. (via For the Love of God, Don’t Lose Everything, Says Carbonite | Adweek)
