Korean clusterfuck films are my new jam.
This one is particularly heavy. A critic noted that of all the films coming out of Korea recently, The Host, Old Boy etc all great films (in their different crazy ways) and all share a very common theme of family. If I took one thing from I Saw the devil, it’d be don’t fuck with someones family, and on that note, don’t fuck with serial killers..
I’m tolerant with gore and violence in film, as long as it’s relevant to the plot/story structure but this was almost too much.
