I used to have one of these! Hipopotam studio have digitized retro electro games to play online. It’s all very nostalgic and ‘retro’, but I think most people will agree that the gameboy was a huge step up from these things. Donkey Kong junior vs donkey kong land? No way, not even close. Gameplay was uhh, restricted but the handhelds themselves had all these cool colourways and illustrations on them which added to the uhh, overall experience.
Anywhey, this is a project that has obviously cost these guys a lot of time and life sacrifices, so probably worth a paypal tip, if you’ve got the cash (which I don’t).
