A family friend is setting up a new gourmet pizza store in Mt Martha. They’ve named it Hungry Monster, and it will open in 2 weeks. They thought I’d be up for the job, and asked me at the start of this week if i’d like to do the identity for them. The catch was it would have to be ready for print in a week. I’ve had about 6 other running projects going on this week, but I said yes. I got my friend George to help me out, because I am by no means an illustrator (Im an art director god dammit). So here’s a sneak peak at the main type and illustration. The other monsters are to be applied to different surfaces in the restaurant, and may appear on the menu etc.
