At the moment I’m really liking this old style look, which is kinda a step away from that ultra simple, clinical feel of most health/beauty products. Also this Cookie dough follows the same trend. I think this will bleed over to other applications of design.
A lot of these designs are American, but I’ve seen British studios with similiar stuff. It’s kinda that turn of the century Edwardian concept. It’s non-aggresive, less computer generated, ‘proper’, Illustrations for the sake of not using photography (rather than for the sake of style) and a healthy usage of revamped vintage fonts.
Graphic Exchange seem to be flogging this sort of stuff recently.
