This is the final logo design for ’arawak database solutions”. As you can see there was never really a logo for this company. Arawak is the term used by the Spanish in describing Native Indian people of the Caribbean. I wanted to follow this theme, play with indigenous and organic style, as-well as focusing on the distinct triangles that the 3 ’A’s make.
I also looked at the framing of the logo, and it ended up with a 3 way folded card look, which I added perspective too. The result is a subtle, warm, and simple logo, without looking overly simplistic or childish, and adds a bit of human to what is basically a software company. How was that for design speak?
