13 Design Trends For 2013 (The Industry)

No, I didn’t write the article or ‘ship’ anything, but I’d like to think I’ve been on top of all of these ‘trends’. Over the past 6 months I’ve favourably mentioned metro, google’s new app design style, the Clear UI, animations for showing not telling, the hamburger button, and larger fonts (16px<), among other things.

It’s reassuring to see other designers taking note of similar stuff, and that I’m not way down the garden path yelling about leather textures.
